The Academy offers live online enrichment classes for homeschoolers and teens who want to learn about psychology, emotional wellness, confidence, and practical life skills in an engaging and supportive environment.

Classes are designed to encourage curiosity, discussion, self-awareness, and real-world learning.


Classes are educational enrichment and are not therapy or mental-health treatment.

Psychology of Everyday Life

A 6-week live online course exploring how our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and habits influence everyday life.

Explore the fascinating world of psychology and discover how our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and habits influence everyday life.

Confidence, Emotions & Coping Skills

Ages 10–13 · $15 per class

Explore confidence, emotional awareness, managing difficult emotions, coping strategies, self-talk, and practical tools for handling everyday challenges. New topics each week.

Drop-in classes are individual one-hour live online classes. Students can register for one class at a time—no multi-week commitment required.

Psychology of Everyday Life: $75 · Drop-in classes: $15 each. Venmo: @audreyderer — please include the student's name and class name in the Venmo payment note.

You will receive confirmation and the information needed to join your online class.

Good to know

Who are the classes for?

Our initial classes are designed for kids and teens ages 10–17.

Do students need to be enrolled in a homeschool program?

No. Classes are open to teens who are interested in enrichment and personal development.

Are these therapy classes?

No. These are educational enrichment classes and are not therapy, counseling, or mental-health treatment.

Can my student join a drop-in class without taking previous classes?

Yes! Each drop-in class is designed to stand alone, so students can join whenever a topic interests them.

Is Psychology of Everyday Life a drop-in class?

No. Psychology of Everyday Life is a six-week course. Students register for the complete six-week session.

How are classes held?

Classes are held live online using a secure video meeting platform. Class information will be provided after registration.

Audrey is a licensed professional counselor with experience working with teens and adults. She created the Academy to provide engaging educational opportunities that combine psychology, personal growth, emotional wellness, and practical life skills.
